Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) apply when you use the services (“Service”) of Cedilily Solutions (“Cedilily.com”, “we” or “us”) along with its subsidiaries, affiliates, and any related parties. These Terms and Conditions make up the complete agreement and understanding between Cedilily.com and the individual (“user”, “subscriber” or “you”) or entity who uses our service.  


By submitting your application and by your use of the Service, you agree to comply with all the terms and conditions set out in this Agreement. Cedilily.com may end your account, with or without notice, for conduct in breach of this Agreement, for conduct that Cedilily.com believes is harmful to its business, or for conduct where the use of the Service is harmful to any other party.


Cedilily.com may, in its sole discretion, change or modify this Agreement at any time, with or without notice. Such changes or modifications shall be made effective for all Subscribers upon posting of the modified Agreement to this web address (URL): http://www.Cedilily.comm/terms-and-conditions/. You are responsible to read this document in conjunction with our Privacy Policy from time to time to ensure that your use of the Service remains in compliance with this Agreement.




Age of Majority

Cedilily.com does not accept agreements and payments from persons under the legal age of 18 years. By submitting your account application, you confirm that you are over 18 years of age, or your parent or legal guardian has agreed to accept this Agreement on your behalf.

Purchasers are users who buy services on Cedilily.


Professionals are users who offer services through Solutions on Cedilily.


Custom deals are customized offers that a Professional creates in reply to specific requirements of a Purchaser.


Custom Orders occur when a Purchaser provides a request to receive a Custom deal from a Professional.


Disputes are misunderstandings experienced at the time of order between a Purchaser and a Professional on the Cedilily platform.


Cedilily Balance refers to the full amount of Revenue a Professional has and/or payments repaid to a Purchaser from canceled orders.


Solution Packages enable Professionals to present services in multiple formats and prices. These Packages can cover upgrades, that allows Professionals to rate their service for a base price of GHS 15. ​


Solution Page is where the Professional can describe their Solution and the Solutions’ terms, and the Purchaser can buy the Solution and create an order.


Solution / Solutions are services Professionals offer on Cedilily.


Order Page is where Purchasers and Professionals communicate with each other about an ordered Solution.


Orders are the official agreement between a Purchaser and a Professional after the Purchaser buys from the Professional’s Solution Page.


Payment Services Provider(s) are service providers that make payment services available to Purchasers and Professionals on the Cedilily platform, including the collection of funds from Purchasers regarding purchases, withdrawals, and/or remittances to Professionals.


Earning is the amount of money that Professionals earn from finished orders and can either use to purchase on Cedilily or withdraw, under these Terms.


Project Pillar(s) are split tasks in a single Solution usually in custom deals that are priced above GHS 500.

Professionals create Solutions on Cedilily to allow Purchasers to buy their services.

Professionals can also offer Custom Deals to Purchasers along with their Solutions.

Each Solution you sell and adequately complete, net revenue of 83% of the purchase amount is credited to your account. 

Cedilily credits Professionals once an order is successfully completed. Check our Orders section below to learn more about the definition of a completed order.

If the Professional or the Purchaser cancels an order for any reason, we will return the funds paid to the Purchaser’s Cedilily Balance.

Compensations are only accessible for withdrawal from the Income page after a security clearance period of 9 days once our system marks the order complete. Diamond Professionals and Platinum Professionals are eligible to withdraw compensation after a Security clearance period of 7 days once our system marks the order complete.

Google Ads platform may not be used by Professionals to promote their Solutions or any Cedilily content.

Professionals may withdraw their compensations through one of Cedilily’s withdrawal options (Please check the Withdrawal Section below concerning our payment terms).

The Professional’s rating is calculated according to the reviews made by Purchasers. High ratings enable Professionals to obtain advanced Professional levels (see Levels below).

In some circumstances, extremely low ratings can result in the suspension of the Professional’s account.

For safety reasons, Cedilily may disable a Professional’s ability to withdraw compensation temporarily to prevent illicit or fraudulent activity. This can occur as a result of improper behavior reports from our Purchasers, security issues, or connecting multiple Cedilily accounts to one withdrawal provider.

Professionals are required to pay any direct or indirect taxes such as VAT. Professionals represent and warrant that they are compliant, and will comply always, with their commitments under income tax laws. 

The price displayed on the Solution page or order page includes all charges and taxes applicable to the Professional.

Appointing Cediliy as your Limited Payment Collection Agent

Professional hereby appoints Cedilily as their limited authorized payment collection agent only with the object of accepting payments (via its Payment Services Provider, if applicable) from Purchaser, and making those payments available to the Professional.

Professional approves that payment from Purchaser to Cedilily shall be deemed as the same payment made directly to Professional.

The payment obligation of Purchaser to Professional will be fulfilled upon receipt of payment by Cedilily or its Payment Services Provider, and Cedilily through its Payment Services Provider is required to send the funds to the Professional in the manner stipulated in these Terms and Conditions.

If Cedilily through its Payment Services Provider does not send these amounts to Professional, the Professional can obtain recourse against Cedilily and not the Purchaser directly. Professional acknowledges that Cedilily may refer or otherwise reflect the terms set out herein in any terms and conditions, disclosures, notices, or receipts, inclusive of, but not limited to, receipts sent to Purchasers that Cedilily may consider prudent or necessary.

Cedilily cooperates with Payment Services Providers in order to collect payments from Purchasers, transfer these payments from Purchasers to Professionals, and hold funds regarding Cedilily Balances. 

All payments services connected with the withdrawal of funds on the Cedilily platform are completed by Cedilily’s Payment Services Providers.

Professionals are required to obtain a general liability insurance policy with sufficient coverage amounts to cover all risks related to the selling of their services.

Professionals are free to publish a preferred amount of active Solutions according to their Level status.

12 Solutions for Gold Professionals.

22 Solutions for Platinum Professionals.

35 Solutions for Diamond Professionals.


Solutions created on Cedilily are User Generated Content.


Cedilily reserves the right to remove Solutions and/or users from the Site for violations of these Terms and Conditions and/or our Community Standards, including but not limited to the following violations and/or materials:

  • Copyright Infringement, Trademark Infringement, and violation of a third party’s terms of service reported through our Intellectual Property Claims Policy found here
  • Adult oriented services, Pornographic, Inappropriate/Obscene
  • Illegal or Fraudulent services
  • Intentional copies of Solutions
  • Spam, nonsense, or violent or deceptive Solutions
  • Solutions misleading to Purchasers or others
  • Reselling of regulated goods
  • Sending an offer to prepare academic works on behalf of Purchasers
  • Services that extend beyond 30 days of service duration
  • Exceedingly low-quality Solutions


Promoting Cedilily and/or Cedilily Solutions through activities that are prohibited by any laws, regulations, and/or third parties’ terms of service, as well as through any marketing activity that negatively affects our relationships with our users or partners.


Once we remove a Solution for violations mentioned above, the Professional’s account may be suspended as well.


Solutions that are removed for violations mentioned above are not capable of being edited or restored.

Solutions might be deleted from our Search feature as a result of user misconduct and/or poor performance. 


Solutions might include pre-approved website URLs included in the Solution requirements and description box. 


Solutions having websites promoting content and violating Cedilily’s Terms of Service and/or our Community Standards will be removed from our system.


We require all solutions to have an appropriate image in connection with the solution offered.


We have also provided an option to upload two additional Solution images to all Professionals. 


Professionals must fulfill the same quality of service as displayed on their Solution images. Periodic deliveries that don’t meet the quality displayed on the Solution images might result in the Professional’s account losing Professional status or becoming permanently deactivated.


Solutions might contain an approved Solution Video uploaded using the Solution management tools available on the Cedilily Platform.


Statements on the Solution Page undermining or circumventing these Terms and Conditions is prohibited.


Approved Solutions in select Categories can enable professionals to set up Solution Packages to deliver their services in structured formats with several price points for the chosen Solution.


Some categories are accessible only to Platinum Professionals to create Solutions. If you are not a Platinum Professional and you create a Solution for services available to only Platinum Professionals, you might have your Solution removed.

Cedilily aims at helping Professionals to harness their skills. We strive to empower the finest Professionals with helpful tools to develop their business. Professionals who invest much in self-promotion may achieve higher customer satisfaction. And, if they deliver their solutions promptly, keep up ratings and maintain high quality, they may be rewarded with new statuses, benefits, special opportunities, and tools that go along with it.


Cedilily Professionals can obtain account Levels according to their activity, reputation, and performance.


The advancement criteria are described as follows:

Our automated system updates the Advancement in Levels periodically.


As a Professional, the current levels you can achieve are Blue Level, Gold Level, Platinum Level, and Diamond Level.


Professionals who cannot keep up their high-quality service, suffer an extreme drop in ratings or stop delivering promptly risk losing their Professional status and all the benefits that go with it. For instance, warnings, late deliveries to the Professional’s account, and cancellations may force a Professional to move to a lower level.


Advanced levels entitle their owners to extra benefits or selling their Solution in multiples.


Diamond Professionals

Cedilily reserves the right to choose Diamond Professionals manually using a continual review process according to the volume of sales, outstanding customer care, seniority, very high ratings, high order completion rate, and lastly community leadership.


Diamond Professionals have access to more broad features than former levels, including special access to VIP support and beta features.


We evaluate the eligibility of Diamond Professionals regularly to ensure that the expectations and quality standards of the Diamond selection are achieved. 


Cedilily reserves the right to amend a Diamond Professional status after having considered such evaluation. Also, Diamond Professionals who are not able to maintain their high-quality service by means of an extreme drop in ratings, increased cancellation rate or stop delivering on time or violate our Terms and Conditions and/or our Community Standards, can lose their Diamond status and the benefits that go with it.


Platinum Professionals

Platinum Professionals are pre-verified professionals who go through a vetting process by Cedilily editors. Cedilily welcomes applications from anyone who wishes to be a Platinum Professional including top-performing freelances who are new to Cedilily, together with existing Cedilily Professionals.


We evaluate the eligibility of Platinum Professionals regularly to ensure that the expectations and quality standards of the Platinum selection are achieved. 


Cedilily reserves the right to amend a Platinum Professional status after having considered such evaluation. Also, Platinum Professionals who are not able to maintain their high-quality service by means of an extreme drop in ratings, increased cancellation rate or stop delivering on time or violate our Terms and Conditions and/or our Community Standards, can lose their Diamond status and the benefits that go with it.


Professional Features

Cedilily Professionals gain access to several special features that help customize the usual way their services are being offered.


Custom Deals

Professionals can also send Custom Deals by addressing the specific requirements of a Purchaser.

Customer Deals are deals that the Professional defines with the precise description of the service, the time expected to deliver the service, and the price.


Professionals can send from the conversation page.


Cedilily’s Terms of Service and/or our Community Standard may not be violated by services provided through Customer Deals.


Project Pillars:

Customer Deals above GHS 500 may include up to three project pillars or split tasks. Each pillar is paid and delivered separately according to each Customer Deal’s description and timelines.

A project pillar will be marked as Complete after the Professional delivers a solution and the purchaser accepts it. Our system will automatically mark a task as complete if the Purchaser does not submit a request for modification or acceptance within 8 days after our system marks the task as Delivered, however, in such case all further tasks will be canceled 


Once a Project Pillar is delivered, Purchasers may choose to either continue with the Order and pay for the next order or to stop the Order. Please note that if you choose to stop the Order, the current delivered Solution task will not be canceled.

Some of the services on Cedilily are delivered physically (arts and crafts, collectible items, etc.). For these types of Solutions, Professionals may decide to add shipping charges. Professionals can add Delivery charges for local shipping (within the same country) and for international shipping (anywhere else).


Solutions that include shipping costs must have physical deliverables sent to Purchasers.

Shipping costs added to a Solution only pertains to the cost Professionals require to ship physical items to Purchasers.

Important: Purchasers who purchase Solutions that require physical delivery, will be asked to provide a shipping address.

Professionals are responsible for all shipping arrangements once the buyer provides the shipping address.

Cedilily does not handle or guarantee shipping, tracking, quality, and condition of items or their delivery and shall not be responsible or liable for any damages or other problems resulting from shipping.

A tracking number is a great way to avoid disputes related to shipping. We require entering the tracking number if available on the order page when delivering your work.


Printing Services

Some of the services on Cedilily can be printed and physically delivered (Business Cards, Canvas / Poster Prints, T-Shirts, Flyers, Stationery, etc.).

To withdraw your Earning, you are required to have an account with at least one of Cedilily’s Payment Service Providers for your withdrawal processes. We will hold all funds eligible for Withdrawal on your behalf at an account registered with Cedilily’s Payment Services Provider. Cedilily’s Payment Services Provider will provide all payment services, including withdrawal services.


You can associate your Cedilily profile with only one account from each Cedilily withdrawal method. Your withdrawal account of a Payment Service Provider can be associated with only one Cedilily profile.


Compensations are accessible for withdrawal from the Compensation page following a Security clearance period of 9 days after our automated system marks the order as complete. Diamond Professionals have the eligibility to withdraw Compensation following a security clearance period of 7 days after our automated system marks the order as complete.

To withdraw your compensation, click on the specified withdrawal provider to begin the withdrawal process.


You can make withdrawals only in the amount accessible to you.


Withdrawal fees differ based on the withdrawal method.


Withdrawals are finalized once and cannot be reversed. Cedilily cannot undo this process once it has started.


In some cases, Professionals may withdraw Earning in a number of different currencies. Our Payment Service Provider performs such withdrawals in connection with all currency exchange services.


Your Cedilily Balance is always taken from its GHS value and, therefore, the local currency amount of your Cedilily Balance might change daily in connection with exchange rate fluctuations including conversion fees. Professionals will always have the option to withdraw Compensation in GHS.



Withdrawal Methods

Cedilily Cooperates with its Payment Services Providers for purposes such as collecting payments from Purchasers, transferring those payments from Purchasers to Professionals, and holding funds in accordance with Cedilily Balances. 


Cedilily’s Payment Services Providers perform all payments services pertaining to the collection of funds on the Cedilily platform.

Cedilily serves as Professional’s limited authorized payment collection agent only for accepting payment purposes via its Payment Services Provider from Purchaser and sending those payments to Professional. 


Purchaser’s payment obligation to Professional will be fulfilled once Cedilily or its Payment Services Provider receives Payment and Cedilily through its Payment Service Provider will be responsible for sending the funds to the Professional as described in these Terms of Service. In the event that Cedilily through its Payment Services Provider does not send these amounts to Professional, the Professional can have recourse only against Cedilily and not the Purchaser directly.


In addition, Purchasers can request a Custom Deal which addresses specific Purchaser requirements and receive a Customer Deal from Professionals through the site.


In most locations, purchases on Cedilily can be made by using one of the following payment methods: Mobile Money, Credit Card, or existing Cedilily Balance. 


Your existing Cedilily Balance will be automatically applied to your next purchase.


You are advised not to offer Professionals to pay or make payment using any method other than through the Cedilily platform. Please report immediately to Customer Support if you are being asked to use an alternative payment method.


Cedilily or Cedilily’s Payment Services Providers collect payment information in connection with withdrawals to protect against fraud, unauthorized transactions (such as money laundering), claims, or other liabilities. 


Cedilily’s Payment Services Providers might also collect other information as necessary for withdrawal payments processes.


Cedilily cannot access or obtain the payment information provided to Payment Service Providers, and this information is in connection with the privacy policy applicable to our Payment Service Providers. Please you can check our Privacy Policy for more information here.

By using any payment method and/or providing payment details for making purchases on Cedilily, you represent and warrant that: 

(a) you are legally authorized to provide such information; 

(b) you are legally authorized or have permission to make payments using the payment method(s); 

(c) if you are an employee or agent of a company or person that owns the payment method, you are authorized by that company or person to use the payment method to make payments on Cedilily; and 

(d) such actions do not violate any applicable law.


Local Currencies

Purchasers may pay on Cedilily in different currencies. Unless stated otherwise, our system will automatically charge you in the currency shown on the payment page.


Cedilily’s Payment Services Providers perform all currency exchange services in connection with payments and withdrawals in local currencies. You will be charged in US$ in certain cases when certain currencies are not supported by certain payment methods. In every case, the actual charged amount will be clearly disclosed to you on the payment page before you complete the payment.


Purchasers should note that all prices on Cedilily are derived always from their original GHS price and, therefore, non-GHS currency prices may vary in connection with exchange rate fluctuations and might also include conversion fees. 


In case you paid for an Order on Cedilily platform in a currency other than GHS and our system later canceled your Order for any reason, the amount returned to your Cedilily Balance would depend on the exchange rate as of the cancellation date. Hence, the amount returned in your Cedilily account may differ from the paid amount in local currency terms, while maintaining the same GHS value always.


Our System always values your Cedilily Balance is in GHS, even if it may show in a non-GHS currency. Hence, should you decide to view your Cedilily Balance in any currency other than GHS, it can change daily based on exchange rate fluctuations, while maintaining the same GHS value always. Users can always view their Cedilily Balance in US$ by simply changing their selected displayed currency.

Cedilily may charge Purchasers with indirect taxes such as Sales Tax or VAT based on their current location in addition to the price shown on the Order Page, and, in every case, the taxes applicable will always be shown to the Purchaser before payment.


Purchasers agree to be compliant with all tax requirements applicable to them, including any obligation to deduct or withhold taxes. Cedilily hereby clarifies that all prices and transaction fees displayed on the Site are the net amounts that will be paid after any direct or indirect taxes, withholding tax and/or deductions and levy.

Once our system confirms your payment, your order will be automatically created and assigned a unique Cedilily order number (#CO).


Professionals must send completed files and/or proof of work via the Deliver Work button as stated by the service that was advertised and purchased on their Solution. The Deliver Work button can be located on the Order page.


Professionals should not be abusing The Deliver Work button to evade Order guidelines defined in this Terms of Service. If you use the “Deliver Work” button after an Order was not successfully fulfilled can result in that Order being canceled after review, and this can affect the Professional’s rating. This can also result in a warning to Professionals.

Our system marks an Order as Complete after being marked as Delivered and immediately after a Purchaser accepts it. Our system automatically marks an Order as Complete if a Purchaser fails to accept it and has not submitted any request for modification within 3 days after the system marked the order as Delivered.

Cedilily urges our Purchasers and Professionals to settle conflicts among themselves. If under any circumstance this fails after using the Resolution Hub or if you find issues pertaining to non-permitted usage on the Site, you can contact Cedilily’s Customer Support for help here.


Handling Orders

When a Purchaser orders a Solution, the Professional is alerted by email as well as notifications on the Cedilily platform after logging into the account.


We require Professionals to conform to the delivery time they specified at the time of creating their Solutions. Not obeying this will enable the Purchaser to cancel the Order when an Order on the platform is already marked as late. This can also harm the Professional’s status.


Professionals must send completed files and/or proof of work via the Deliver Work button as stated by the service that was advertised and purchased on their Solution. The Deliver Work button can be located on the Order page.


It is the user’s responsibility to scan all transferred files for viruses and malware. Cedilily will not be held responsible for any damages which might occur due to site usage, use of content or files transferred.


Purchasers can request revisions if the delivered materials do not agree with the Professional’s description on their Solutions page or they do not correspond with the requirements sent to the Professional when the Order process began.

Purchaser’s Feedback reviews are a crucial part of Cedilily’s rating system. Reviews show the Purchaser’s general experience with the Professional and their service. We urge the Purchasers to communicate to the Professional any concerns gone through during their active order in connection with the service provided by the Professional.


A basic prerogative of a Purchaser is leaving feedback. We will not remove Feedback reviews except in the case there are clear violations of our Community Standards and/or our Terms of Service.


Our system requires all feedback reviews to result from legitimate sales performed fully through the Cedilily platform to prevent any misuse of our Feedback system. Users who attempt to arrange Purchases to artificially increase Professional ratings, or abuse the Cedilily platform with purchases from additional accounts, will have all related accounts permanently suspended.


We publicly display feedback comments given by Purchasers on a Professional’s Solution page.


Solution Samples are the transferred videos and images sent to a Purchaser in a delivery message. The Purchaser can add Solution Samples to a Professional’s Live Portfolio on their Solution page. This is possible if the Purchaser publishes the Solution Sample while providing a public feedback review.

Withholding the delivery of solutions, information, or files needed to complete the Solution’s service intending to gain additional services or favorable reviews is not allowed.


Responding and posting a review: Once the Professional delivers work; the Purchaser has three days to reply. If the Purchaser failed to respond within the response period, our system will automatically consider the Order completed.


We allow users to leave reviews on Orders up to 10 days after an order is marked as complete. Users can not add new reviews to an Order after 10 days.


Professionals should not request the replacement or removal of feedback reviews from their Purchasers through mutual cancellations.

Cedilily urges our Purchasers and Professionals to settle conflicts among themselves. If under any circumstance this fails after using the Resolution Hub or if you find issues pertaining to non-permitted usage on the Site, you can contact Cedilily’s Customer Support for help here.



You can perform Order cancellations on Cedilily, if necessary, using Customer Support or through the Resolution Hub per order.

Please note that it is a violation of our Terms of Service to reverse a payment through your payment provider or your bank or file a transaction dispute. This can get your account temporarily or permanently disabled.


Note: The funds will not be eligible for a refund once you have filed a dispute with your payment provider because of Cedilily’s obligations towards the payment provider.


Through our Payment Service providers, we reserve the right to cancel orders or to place funds on hold for any suspected fraudulent activity or transactions made on the Cedilily platform.


All transfers of intellectual property to the Purchaser and assignments shall be subject to full payment, and the Professional can decide not to use delivery in case Purchaser canceled payment for any reason.


In the event the Purchaser or Professional cancels an order, our system will return the funds paid to the Purchaser’s Cedilily Balance automatically.


Professionals can perform revisions to deliveries contingent upon the Professional’s Solution and customer care. Professionals may choose the number of revisions they offer to Purchasers, including no revisions.


You can perform revision requests through the Order Page once the system marks the order as Delivered.


It is prohibited to use the Request Revisions button to gain more services from Professionals beyond the agreed requirements.

Cedilily urges our Purchasers, and Professionals to settle conflicts among themselves.


Our Customer Support team will assess the eligibility for requests to Cedilily to cancel an order that will be subject to several factors which include violations of our Community Standards and/or Terms of Service and/or, improper usage of the Cedilily delivery system and general misconduct. 


Upon review, our Customer Support team may cancel completed orders or project pillars, up to 9 days after our system marks the project pillar or the order as complete. We strictly advised that orders cannot be partially canceled; this implies that Cedilily can only cancel the entire order once we justify it.


In unusual circumstances where we find it necessary, we may cancel a completed order even after 9 days have passed. In those cases, we will return the amounts paid for the canceled order to the Purchaser’s Cedilily Balance and will also deduct from the Professional’s Cedilily Balance or from future revenues of such Professional in cases where there are no sufficient amounts in the Professional’s Cedilily Balance.


Purchasers are not eligible to cancel Orders contingent upon the quality of materials/service delivered by the Professionals if they provided the solution as described in the Solution’s Page. Purchasers may rate their experience with the Professional on the Order Page and also the overall level of solution quality they received.


Purchasers must use Cedilily Resolution Hub to discuss their desired resolution and concerns related to the Solution provided by their Professional before contacting Customer Support. Customer Support will take no action against Orders where the Purchasers failed to inform their Professional of problems related to the Professional’s service and will allow Professionals to first provide a resolution. This excludes non-permitted usage of Cedilily.


Upon review, our Customer Support team may cancel orders related to any non-permitted usage of Cedilily encountered during an Order. This comprises unlawful behavior, harassment, or other violations of Cedilily’s Terms of Service.


Cedilily Customer Support will cancel orders subject to the following reasons:

Active Orders after the Purchaser submits their requirements, and before the Professional delivers on Cedilily


The Purchaser or Professional is no longer an active Cedilily user because of the closure of their account or Terms of Service violations.


Purchasers are offensive towards the Professional or vice versa, by leveraging order materials such as personal information or logins against each other or using threats of low ratings.


Users included trademark/copyright infringing materials inside the Purchaser requirements or the Professional’s delivery.


The Professional is late and not responding for over 24 hours while our system marks the order as late.


Delivered Orders (i.e. after the Professional clicks Deliver Now and before our system marks the order as complete)


The Professional uses the Delivery system to increase the delivery due date to perform the requested service without rendering the final delivered services to Purchasers. Please note that many reported offenses will cause your account to be permanently suspended.

The Professional sends no proof of work and/or files subject to the agreed-upon order requirements. Please note that our Customer Support team will review the Subjectivity of the materials in question.

The Professional demands additional payments, within or outside the Cedilily platform, by way of withholding the final delivery of the solution related to the agreed requirements.

The Professional withholds the final delivery of the solution and demands improved ratings.

Purchasers who violate the Request Revisions button just so they gain more solutions from Professionals beyond the agreed requirements.


Purchasers who issue threats to leave a demeaning review to gain more solutions from the Professional not related to the agreed requirements.


Completed Orders (after our system marks the order as complete and before the 9-day restriction).


Purchasers or Professionals who have been reported to use trademark/copyright infringing materials after we have verified and there is proof.


Purchaser refuses to purchase commercial use rights and is reported to have used the materials for commercial purposes. Please note you can find Terms of Commercial on the Professional’s Solution Page and cannot be included after our systems mark the order as completed for over 9 days.


Cedilily Customer Support will review cases of Order delivery manipulation that prevents Purchasers and Professionals from fully utilizing our Resolution Hub that enabled the order to be marked as complete.

There’s no cancellation fee for solutions except those within the housework, office work, and parties and events category.


If you cancel a confirmed solution within 24 hours of its scheduled start time, you will lose at least 60% percent of your money depending on the situation and the decision of our Cred & Defense Team. This is only applicable for services like parties and events, cakes, and other services where the professional uses their own money to buy the things you required for your order.


This policy is deemed necessary because Professionals are reserving time to help you, and turning down other orders to do so.


We review cancellations internally to determine if a fee is applicable.

You won’t be charged the fee if the cancellation is the fault of the Professional.

Cedilily Customer Support will check cases of Order delivery manipulation that interrupt Purchasers and Professionals from fully using our Resolution Hub that led to the order being marked as complete.


Cedilily does not refund payments related to canceled orders back to your payment provider automatically. Our system returns funds from canceled orders to the Purchaser’s Cedilily Balance, which are available for subsequent purchases on Cedilily. Please note that funds returned to your Cedilily Balance from order cancellations will not include service or processing fees paid.


We return to service/processing fees to your Cedilily Balance once you cancel an order. Where the service/processing fees were not returned to your Cedilily Balance after an order cancellation, our system will exempt such service/processing fees’ amount from your subsequent purchase on Cedilily.


Our Customer Support team performs refunds directly to your payment provider contingent upon the Order’s original payment amount. Cedilily limits the number of times users can request a payment provider refund to prevent fraud and abuse; Our Customer Support team will be available to review such refunds. There may be additional fees charged on such refunds.

Cedilily allows people across the country to create, sell, and purchase nearly any solution they need at an exceptional value. Solutions provided on Cedilily reflect the diversity of an expanding Solution economy. Cedilily community members engage and communicate through orders and on Cedilily’s Community Forums.


Cedilily keeps a friendly and professional environment. All users on the platform should act according to by keeping to that spirit while engaging in any activity on Cedilily. This section shows the expected conduct Professionals and Purchasers should adhere to during their interaction on Cedilily.

We keep user identities anonymous in order to protect our users’ privacy. We also do not permit users’ requesting or providing personal contact details like Skype/IM usernames, Email addresses, and telephone numbers to communicate outside of Cedilily or to abuse the Cedilily platform.


Professionals and Purchasers can exchange any personal information required to continue their transactions within the Order Page.

We do not guarantee the level of service offered to Purchasers. There are dispute resolution tools accessible to you in the Order Page.


Please note that we do not protect users who fail to interact within the Cedilily platform.

We strictly advise users to provide all files and information exchanges only on Cedilily’s platform.


Cedilily does not tolerate rude, improper language, abusive or violent messages. Such actions may cause an account warning or the permanent suspension of your account.


Cedilily is accessible to people above the age of 18. We reserve the right to suspend or remove your account in cases regarding discrimination against a member of the Cedilily Community based on gender, religious affiliation, race, sexual preference, age, or otherwise. 


You should not submit proposals through Cedilily to contract and pay outside of Cedilily.





Users who have the intention to discredit competing Professionals by ordering from competing Solutions will cause their reviews to be removed or our Cred & Defense team will review further account status related actions.

We strictly advise you to not spam or solicit previous Purchasers or Professionals to remove or change reviews or cancel orders which do not connect with Order Cancellation or Feedback policies.


We also check disputes and cases of payment provider chargebacks on behalf of Professionals. Even though results differ per case for each chargeback reason, Cedilily works hard on dealing with disputes in the Professional’s favor. Cedilily or one of Cedilily’s Payment Services Providers will return parts or full revenue to Professionals provided the chargeback case allows this, else the Professional will bear the chargeback amount. 



We encourage users to report Solutions to Customer Support that may be in violation of our Terms and Conditions based on the replicated similarity of the reported Solution to pre-existing Solutions.


Professionals affirm that any content they include in their Solutions shall be original work they have conceived and shall not infringe any third-party rights, including, but not limited to service marks, copyrights, trademarks. If the professional incorporates certain stock-footage media or music within the Solutions, they warrant and represent that they hold a valid license to use and include them in the Solutions.


We will respond to complete and clear notices of alleged trademark or copyright infringement. You can check out our Intellectual Property claims procedures here.




Reporting Violations

If you find any content that might violate our Community Standards and/or Terms and Conditions, report it to us through the channels created to deal with those issues as defined in our Terms and Services. Our Cred & Defence team will review all cases. Our Cred & Defence team does not share the results of the investigation to protect individual privacy. Kindly check our Privacy Policy for more information.



Professionals or Purchasers might receive a warning to their account for violating our Community Standards and our Terms and Conditions or any user misconduct report that our Trust and Safety team may receive.


We will send a warning to the email address of the user and will be shown for the user on the platform. We do not send warnings to limit your account activity. Instead, the warnings can cause your account to lose Professional statuses or be permanently disabled depending on the intensity of the violation.



Non-Permitted Usage

Adult Services & Pornography – Cedilily does not allow any exchange of adult-oriented or pornographic materials and services.


Inappropriate Behavior & Language – Communication on Cedilily should be constructive, friendly, and professional. Cedilily condemns harassment, hate speech, and bullying towards others.


Cedilily provides Professionals or Purchasers a medium where they can exchange messages with each other, a system to rate services and to take part on larger platforms like our Community Forum.


Phishing and Spam – The security of our users is a primary priority. Cedilily prohibits any attempts to send or publish malicious content to jeopardize another user’s account or the Cedilily’s environment. We urge you to respect our users’ privacy by not reaching them with offers, suggestions, questions, or anything which has no connection with their Solutions or orders.


Privacy & Identity – Users may not publish other people’s private information. We encourage any exchange of personal information needed for the complete delivery of the Solution to be provided in the Order Page. Professionals further warrant that any information received from the Purchaser shall not be used only for the delivery of the Solution to the Purchaser and not any other purpose. Cedilily will not protect any Professional or Purchaser who engages and communicate outside the Cedilily platform.


Authentic Cedilily Profile – We advise you not to misrepresent your identity, create a false identity on Cedilily, or create a Cedilily profile for any person other than yourself. You also may not use another user’s information or account. The information you provided on your profile, which includes your skills, description, the location must be complete and accurate and should not be illegal, misleading, offensive, or otherwise harmful although we may keep such information anonymous. We reserve the right to demand users to pass through a verification process to use our Cedilily platform.


Intellectual Property Claims – Cedilily will respond to complete and clear notices of alleged trademark or copyright infringement, and/or third party’s terms of service violations. You can check our Intellectual Property claims procedures here.


Fraud / Unlawful Use – We strictly advise you not to use Cedilily to conduct illegal activities or for any unlawful purposes.


Abuse and Spam

Multiple Accounts – Cedilily limits users to one active account to prevent abuse and fraud. We will disable any additional account we figured out users created to promote competitive advantages, to circumvent guidelines or mislead the Cedilily community. The creation of a mass account may cause us to disable all related accounts. Please note that violating our Community Standards and/or our Terms and Conditions may cause a permanent suspension of all accounts.


Targeted Abuse – Engaging in harassment or targeted abuse towards other users on Cedilily is strictly prohibited. This may include the creation of new accounts to harass users through our ordering or message system.


Selling Accounts – It is prohibited to buy or sell Cedilily accounts.


Feedback Rights

You confirm that any suggestions or comments, or other feedback you provide Cedilily in connection with the Cedilily platform or the Site and other Cedilily products or services are granted to Cedilily as an exclusive, fully paid up, perpetual, royalty-free, irrevocable ownership rights in the Feedback. We are not under any obligation to execute any feedback we may receive from our users.



Professionals should recognize that Purchasers may disclose certain private information to Professionals for the purpose of completing the ordered solution and protect such classified information from unlawful use and disclosure. Hence, Professionals agree to handle any information they receive from Purchasers as sensitive, classified, and top-secret material. 


Professionals explicitly agree to:

(i) not disclose the information to any third parties;

(ii) handle all such information in strict confidence; 

(iii) not to reproduce or copy any of the information without the permission of the Purchaser; and 

(vi) use the information only for delivering the ordered Solution and not for any other purpose.

We reserve the right to suspend any account temporarily or permanently disable accounts because of violation of these Community Standards and/or our Terms and Conditions or for any unauthorized use of the Cedilily platform.


Violation of our Community Standards and our Terms of Service and/or may get your account disabled permanently.


Purchasers or Professionals with disabled accounts cannot sell or buy on Cedilily.


Purchasers or Professionals who had their account disabled for violating our Community Standards and Terms and Conditions can contact our Customer Support team for further information regarding the status of the account and the violation.

Users can enable account Security features to safeguard their accounts from any unlawful usage.


Purchasers or Professionals can verify their account ownership through our Customer Support by providing materials that prove their account ownership.


Professionals can withdraw their revenues from disabled accounts after 90 days once the ownership of the account has been fully verified, from the day of the last payment they received in their account and contingent upon Cedilily’s approval.


We encourage users to handle all disputes through our dispute resolution tools or by contacting Cedilily’s Customer Support.


Cedilily reserves the right to change its Terms and Conditions every so often. Once we make these changes, we will make an extra copy of the terms and conditions accessible on this page.


You warrant and agree that once you use Cedilily after the date the Terms and conditions have taken effect, Cedilily will treat your use as acceptance of the updated Terms of Service.

User-Generated Content is the content added by Purchasers or Professionals to Cedilily rather than content created by Cedilily. All content our users (Purchasers and Professionals) upload to Cedilily refers to User Generated Content. We do not review user uploaded content for violations of trademarks, copyright, appropriateness, or other rights or violations.


We urge everyone to report violations and proof of ownership as required. We may remove or disable reported content violating these terms.


We are not responsible for the quality, the level, or the content of service the Professionals provide on our platform even if they are Platinum Professionals, Diamond Professionals. In choosing appropriate services, we do not provide any warranty regarding the Solutions, their delivery, any communications between Purchasers and Professionals, and our community.


The Professional offering a solution warrants that he or she has enough rights and/or licenses, and permissions to render, sell or resell the Solution offered on Cedilily. Professionals advertising their online Solution must adhere to laws and terms of use of the advertising platform. Failing to comply may cause the removal of the Solution, as appropriate, and may result in the suspension of the Professional’s account.


For specific terms related to Intellectual Property rights and for reporting claims of copyright infringement (DMCA notices) or trademark infringement – please see our Intellectual Property Claims Policy which forms an integral part of these Terms of Service. Note that it is our policy in appropriate circumstances to disable and/or terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.



Ownership and limitations: When you are buying a Solution on Cedilily, the Professional grants the Purchaser all intellectual property rights, including but without limitation to copyrights for the Solution the Professional delivers and also waives any moral rights thereon unless stated differently on the Professional’s Solution page/description, the time the solution is delivered, and subject to payment. We will consider the delivered solution as work-for-hire under the Ghana Copyright Act, 2005.


If the delivered Solution does not satisfy the work-for-hire requirements or where Ghana Act does not apply, the Professional expressly agrees to grant the Purchaser the copyright in the Solution.


All assignment and transfer of intellectual property to Purchaser shall be contingent upon the full payment for the Solution, and the Purchaser may use delivery if the Purchaser cancels payment for whatever reason. Where the Professional creates custom work like report generation, design work, artwork, and many others, the delivered Solution shall be the exclusive property of the Purchaser, and Professional grants all title, interest, and rights to the Purchaser in the delivered Solution. Some Solutions like a custom created work demand extra payment if you want a Commercial Use License.

This suggests that if you buy the Solution for personal use, you will be assigned all rights you need for such use, and the Commercial Use License will not be necessary. If you have the intention to use it for any charge or for any purpose directly or indirectly connected with any business, or other venture for profit, you will be required to purchase the Commercial Use License.


For Voice-Over Solutions, when the Professional delivers the Solution, and contingent upon payment, the Purchaser is buying basic rights. This implies that the Purchaser is paying a onetime fee, granting him/her to use the work forever and for any purpose except for television, radio commercials, and internet commercial spots. If you have an intention to use the Voice Over for the promotion of a product and/or service aside paid marketing channels, you will be required to buy the Commercial Rights. If you have an intention to use the Voice Over in television, radio commercials, and internet commercial spots, you will be required to buy the Full Broadcast Rights. Please read below for more information.


Both Purchasers and Professionals warrant that unless they specifically indicate otherwise, the content they upload or create on Cedilily, which include Solution photos, texts, usernames, videos, user photos, and videos and any other information, including the display of delivered Solution, might be used by Cedilily for no consideration for marketing and others.


Voice Over Commercial 

When buying a Voice Over Solution, the Professional assigns to you an exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use the purchased Voice Over except for television and radio commercials and internet commercial spots.


Once you buy a Commercial Rights with your order, together with the basic rights, the Professional assigns a license to you to use the Voice Over for any non-broadcast, corporate and promotional purposes. Non-broadcast, corporate, and promotional purposes imply any business-related used to create or to promote a for-profit product or service except paid marketing channels, such as explainer videos uploaded to social networks, company websites, podcast intros, audiobooks or email campaigns, and strictly excludes any immoral, illegal or defamatory purpose.

Solution Commercial Use License

Once you buy a “Commercial Use Licence” with your order, together with the basic rights, the Professional assigns a license to you to use the purchased delivery for any permitted commercial purposes. The Professional maintains all ownership rights.


These “permitted commercial purposes” imply any business-related activity like promotion, integration into product, creating web pages, advertising, software, or other business-related activities. This strictly does not include any immoral, illegal, or defamatory purpose. This License is contingent upon Cedilily’s Terms and Conditions.


The purchase of this delivery comes with no warranty, express or implied, including in connection with fitness for a particular purpose. The Professional or Cedilily will not be liable for any claims, or other damages, or incidental or consequential resulting from this license, your use of the delivery, or the delivery.
